A pleasant stay in the medieval Ferrara

Le Stanze di Torcicoda is an intimate B&B located in the historical Jewish ghetto of Ferrara, in the heart of the city centre, a few steps from the Cathedral, the Estense Castle and the main points of tourist interest: a corner of the city where time seems to have stopped centuries ago.

The house is an old "cassero ferrarese" (traditional house of Ferrara) built on 1400, once home to the servants of the local Jewish families. A careful renovation has restored the charme of memory, preserving the original materials, making today a elegant residence and an ideal base for your stay in Ferrara, or better, to live Ferrara.

To furnish our Room and Breakfast we have searched and restored antique furniture typical of the area, in order to transmit the warmth with which we love to receive guests.

In our work we place particular emphasis on respect for the environment and we try to give an eco-friendly management of our R&B.

We offer B&B (Bed and Breakfast) accommodations, in four rooms in which we have tried to create a warm, intimate and elegant feel. All rooms are quiet and comfortable, with hardwood floors, exposed beams and each of them is characterized by its own atmosphere that makes it unique.

We tried to give the house the best compromise between comfort and history, equipping every environment not only with fine and traditional furnishings, but also with every comfort and modern facilities.
